Salaam! My name is Haniya Kashif. I am a passionate and hardworking third year software engineering student at McMaster University. I enjoy anything requiring creativity as well as logic and solving puzzles which is why I got into coding and design. I started joining programming and robotics clubs in elementary school and then took different courses such as technological design, computer engineering, and computer sciences in high school. Now I study it as my major and wish to give other kids a good early start. My goal is to help prepare the students for any path they take.

I love it when students feel comfortable with me like a friend while maintaining a mutual respect so that class can be a fun and safe place to learn. I want all students to leave every class feeling like they learned something; no one should leave a class more confused than when they first came in.

In my free time, I love doing different types of art but the one I am most skilled at is sketching. Other than that, I like to spend time outdoors and traveling, looking for my next adventure!
