  • Class Description

Since 2017, Seedlings of Jannah has been providing creative Ramadan and Eid programs for children across the Greater Toronto Area, alhamdulillah. This year’s Ramadan March Break camp will provide a unique and invidivudalized learning experience that favours nature and outdoors play. Please note that this is for boys only aged 6-10 years old. I am accepting enrollment for five students.

This is an inquiry and play-responsive nature immersion workshop for boys that explores Islamic history, heritage and design through the gift of salah:

    Our big ideas are:
🌱 Allah is the Creator and the All-Sustainer.
🌱 Allah calls us to obey Him through establishing the prayer and being a friend of the masjid.

    Through inquiry-led activities, students will:
🌱 create a collective community picture book about masajid
🌱 design and build a 3D masjid model
🌱 appreciate salah as a gift from Allah

Our sources are selections from Ustadha Mehded Maryam Sinclair’s audiobook “Scents of Paradise” and Shaykh Abdul Nasir Jangda’s “Meaningful Prayer.” We will spend a signficant amount of time outdoors in the garden to study biomimicry and biomorphism in the context of masjid design.

Your child’s spot will be secured upon submission of the following:
